The Healthy Living BEYOND Weight(TM) Study is a nationwide research study led by the American Heart Association, aiming to better understand long-term health experiences of adults living with obesity or those who are overweight. The study explores real-world experiences of adults navigating weight and health challenges to help improve care and redefine what it means to live well. The Healthy Living BEYOND Weight Study will help us learn more about how different approaches to managing weight, such as new medications and lifestyle changes, affect people's health over time. This will allow us to improve care and support better health for everyone. Your health is about more than just a number on the scale. It’s about how you feel - your energy, your mood and your quality of life. If you have tried a GLP-1 or other weight management medicine, had weight-loss surgery, or worked to manage your weight in any way, we want to hear from you. Your experience can help researchers, clinicians and other groups understand what's working, what’s not and how to improve care. The Healthy Living Beyond Weight Study is open to U.S. adults with a BMI of 25 or over or those previously or currently prescribed lifestyle, pharmacological or surgical treatment for weight management. When you join, you’ll get access to trusted tools and resources from the American Heart Association-like healthy recipes, wellness tips, and support to help you feel your best. As part of your participation in the Healthy Living BEYOND Weight Study, we’ll ask you to complete surveys and answer short questions. Millions of people just like you are navigating weight and health issues. Your participation in the Healthy Living BEYOND Weight Study fuels research that will change lives and fill gaps in research - leading to better care, more compassionate treatment and improved health outcomes. This study was designed with your privacy and comfort in mind - and sharing your experience can help shape a better path forward.   Let’s get started!
